Software Developer Internship
This individual will be part of a ten week summer internship within our core software development team. The core development team is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining a distributed high frequency trading system. You will be working side-by-side with other talented software engineers to build scalable, high-performance solutions that support our constantly changing trading algorithms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and support C++ trading support applications and tools
- Develop and support exchange connectivity applications
- Provide support for existing C++ and Java application libraries
- Ability to work with the team in a fast paced environment
Required Experience:
- Third year undergraduate student or graduate student with major in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Experience with C++ programming on Linux and Windows
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and network programming
- Past internship or job experience with a software or financial firm a plus
