Jump Scholarships
We would not be the firm we are today if we weren’t able to tap into the talent at some of the best universities in the world. We know that there are students who have the academic merit but not the financial means to attend these schools. To help provide these students with the educational experience they deserve, we have created two Jump Trading Scholarships.
University of Illinois
The Jump Trading Scholars Program was established at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign (UIUC) in 2010. The program provides two highly qualified students with a full scholarship and fellowship for their 4th and 5th years of study in the BS/MS 5-year program in Computer Science. In addition, Jump Scholars have the opportunity to participate in an internship with Jump and gain applied, real-world experience by working with our technology team on core business challenges. University of Chicago
The Odyssey Scholarship Challenge was established to help reduce student loans for low and middle-income students at the University of Chicago. In addition to helping its recipients accrue less debt, the Odyssey program inspires more students of modest background to apply to the school. According to the University, the Odyssey program greatly increased their ability to recruit talented students within this demographic, giving these students the opportunity to attend a highly-ranked, private university that they might not have been able to otherwise.
The Jump Trading Scholarship Fund was established in 2009 in support of this excellent program and is currently helping two talented young students pursue their education. For more information about the impact of this program, visit: http://odyssey.uchicago.edu/impact/index.html
